Larrakitj immersive

The first InDigiMatha exhibition project, Larraktij immersive speaks to a contemporary fusion of old and new Yolŋu storytelling.  Drawing inspiration from the miny’tji designs and associated narratives embedded in the Dhalinybuy larrakitj (a hollow-log coffin) and its connection to the sacred site of Warrawurr.  The scenography defines an immersive state-of-the-art multi-sensory exhibition experience that integrates physical and virtual audience participation with activated and emergent digital artworks.

Currently seeking partners and funding for final stage of production and mounting the exhibition.
